Help with questions
Still unsure what an offer means?
You do not need a confident answer to every question before talking to a clinician (a doctor or other health professional). You do need a way to get clear answers before committing.
Prices and rules can change. Open ‘Check the source’ below each section to find the date for its facts.
Where can I seek an assessment?
Start with an in-person practice or telehealth, which is care given remotely. Ask who would assess you and how to check their Florida license or registration.

Drug review is the job of the US agency called the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). A facility can register, meaning it gives the agency its business details.
A company can also list a drug, meaning it sends product details for the agency’s records. Neither step means the FDA approved the medicine.
The FDA does not approve doctors’ offices or other health care providers either.
Ask what the badge actually claims. Then check the clinician and pharmacy records themselves.

‘Research use only’ says the product is for research instead of treatment. FDA letters said named sellers still promoted these products for people to use as unapproved drugs.
The letters state the agency’s accusations about those sellers. They are not decisions by a court.
Ask for the exact product’s approval record before relying on a research label.

A low price on its own is not proof of wrongdoing; legitimate discounts can be much lower than a list price.
Ask for the whole cost and the proposed medicine’s status. Keep both questions open until the answers are clear.

Florida’s Department of Health takes complaints about doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and pharmacies. The usual complaint route needs a written, signed complaint.
The department can act on a license. It does not recover fees or handle refund and billing disputes.
